According to the world healthiest food webpage, cloves ቅርንፉድ are an excellent source of manganese. They are also a very good source of vitamin K and dietary fiber. They are also a good source of iron, magnesium and calcium.

Obviously, not the reason to add cloves to flavor tej since all you need is just a few whole cloves. The powder is overpowering and not to be use, but with the right amount of whole cloves infusion, the warm, sweet and aromatic naunce of cloves entices the palate.
