I’m not sure if I’ever consider myself to be a gardener, but each spring I can be found hunched over a pile of dirt, dropping different kind of seeds into a shallow trench hoping for harvest and excited to see the flowers and some of my fruit berries plants come alive. Some seeds are fast growing and seasonal, others are slow-growing and last for years to come. From looking after the saplings to watering the plants to pruning the bushes and taking care of weeds; a lot of physical work goes into maintaining a garden. Although gardening is not as easy as it seems, I wouldn't trade it for the world. Besides the big payoff comes at harvest.
Things about gardening . . .
The benefits of getting your hands dirty with Nature’s soil are so notable that today an entire clinical field is developing around it, called the horticulture therapy to help people with anxiety disorders and many other psychological and physiological disorders.
Happy gardening y’all!
